Fun???

Seems like its been forever since I've had that - after a week of ups and downs, I'm off to Vegas.  Wish a few moe things were settled, but whatever...

Interesting...

So only 6 people have voted, but chemisty and cougarlife are in the lead.  I find this interesting seeing as I have no chemistry and I tend to go older....

But what do I know? - that's the fun of taking this out of my hands and putting it into yours!

As for the diet - had some VIPs in town to entertain, so I could have done better - but as opposed to focusing 100% on what I am eating, I am trying moderation and "living better"

Actually someone asked me something interesting recently - "What do I want to achieve?".  I actually could not come up with anything - there are millions of things I want to do, but not so much I need to achieve (I could say weight loss, but I feel like I need to be happy with who I am while I work to be HEALTHIER - not stress eating would go a long way).

Anyhow, I came to the conclusion that I have achieved a great deal fairly young - so what do I want?  To let life happen to me and not worry about my next achievement.

They also asked what animal did I want to be and why - Tiger of course.  Because of their big paws.

This really did not seem to satisify - they wanted to know something more concrete about the nature of tigers that I wanted to emulate.  So even though I want to be a tiger for the big paws, I added that they are pretty, mean and like to swim.  Rrrrrrawwwllll!

No more excuses!

So, a great driver of my stress has been my work-load - well I finally received approval for a Manager - this is SUCH a relief - I finally feel like I can handle my life.  Its amazing how something as simple as this can help my energy level!

So, no more bad day excuses, no more my job suks excuses, no more if I'd only married rich excuses.

On that note, I was screwing around the other night and came across a whole host of milionaire match-making sites.  Seriously - this is big business in Cali.  If I ever do decided to go back onto the online thing, it might be worth considering.  Don' get me wrong, I really don't care how much anyone makes, but I've got to believe that the HS graduate working on a factory line is not going to spring for the prime rib.

Is that snobby?  I do only fly first class...

Actually, one of the most noticiable differences between DC and LA is that my success does seem to intimidate men.  I guess in DC they are used to ball-busters.  Here, its all about bra-busters.  Women seriously looking for their sugar-daddy.

Oh - and I have not even gotten into the "cougar" sites.

The Monster of Cookies...

So I went to my favorite salad place last night and I was salivating over a cookie!  I ALMOST CAVED!!!  But....there is this picture of Wynn and me on the couch asleep - it would be the most beautiful picture ever if I didn't look like a beluga whale wearing a crimson shirt and a black skirt.

I have to stay strong!  I am feeling better too...

I did quit Jenny, though - my new plan is all yogurt, all the time - then, when I go out, I am allowed to eat SENSIBLY...

Things are going well - kepping healthly and working out - will be in Vegas over the weekend, so that will be a test...
